| During
a three-year period White Horse Contractors undertook
the design and construction of three full-sized polo pitches
and a stick-and-ball area. These were constructed with
a comprehensive land drainage system. A full-size ménage
and an exercise gallop, approximately a mile long, were
also designed and built by the company.
Associated with the project was the construction of
two lakes, the installation of an irrigation system
and the construction of access roads and car parks. All work was carried out using in-house equipment,
labour, design and supervising staff.

Construction of a full-size polo pitch and a stick-and-ball
area that involved substantial earthmoving works. This
was carried out using in-house equipment. A comprehensive
drainage system was also installed.
A lake was designed and built incorporating a fully
automatic irrigation system. The lake design met the
environmental criteria of the site by creating a wetland
habitat. Access and car park facilities were included in this
project. |
