Works for Tee reshaping include the removal of topsoil from the existing tee and surrounds, levelling and extending the existing area; installing land drains at appropriate spacings and finally laying turf over the new construction.

Sand slits were installed to run the length of the fairway to key into the existing drains. The slits were 250mm deep by 60mm wide, filled with gravel to within 100mm of the surface and topped with an approved sand. The installation of sand slits allows for the rapid removal of surface water into the drain system.
