Riding Arenas Refurbished by White Horse Contractors

Set in the green surroundings of Lee Valley Regional Park, Lee Valley Riding Centre is a British Horse Society (BHS) accredited riding school and the first equestrian centre in the UK to be awarded a QUEST accreditation – a leisure industry award that recognises best practice and demands top quality facilities. White Horse Contractors were appointed by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority to carry out refurbishment and improvement to this Centre.

Further works have also been completed to the brand new stable block which involved the design and construction of surface water and land drainage systems, to both the stables and courtyard and the dramatic transformation of a heavily poached paddock into a manicured turf picnic area for use by staff, clients and visitors to the busy riding centre.

The extensive refurbishment works are now complete, Both riding arenas are now fully operational and receiving high praise from staff and clients alike. WHC have refurbished the two existing riding arenas, one measuring 60m x 20m, the other measures 60m x 30m; totalling 3,000 square metres. Both arenas have been completely overhaul including new fencing, extensively redesigned drainage systems, new sub base and high specification Geotextile membranes, all topped off with a synthetic fibre reinforced riding surface.
