Small civil engineering works, kerbs/ brick laying, concrete works. Works on own initiative. Must be CSCS qualified and have Streetworks licence.

CAD TECHNICIAN

White Horse Contractors Limited, the UK’s premier sports turf construction company, has an opportunity for a candidate to join the Survey and Design department in producing technical drawings, conceptual designs and 3D Models for sports turf, amenity and environmental projects.

Main purpose of job

To ensure that all projects are managed in a consistent and professional manner from initial enquiry through to archive of all relevant project material, in accordance with White Horse Contractors Quality Management System.

Relationships: Reporting to Directors, Contract Managers.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Assist and liase with the project management team, throughout the construction process, to produce proposal drawings, models and conceptual views.


• Design and produce Construction/As-Laid drawings.


• Assist and support surveyor in various site survey operations.


• Produce and develop company marketing and promotional media.


• Maintain standards of excellence, ensuring the continuance of the company’s reputation and client satisfaction.

Experience with AutoCAD is essential in conjunction with high IT literacy. Experience with Adobe Photoshop or LSS would be considered a strong advantage. Other abilities involving media promotional software would also be beneficial.

CONTRACT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

As a member of the contract management team knowledge of sportsturf construction, civil engineering, and construction plant is desirable as you will be expected to:

- Organise and supervise staff under your control, including maintaining Health and Safety Standards.

- Ensure economical and efficient use of company resources throughout all activities.

- Maintain standards of excellence, ensuring the continuance of the company’s reputation and client satisfaction.

EXPERIENCED BULLDOZER & 360º EXCAVATOR OPERATORS

Work for one of the leading sports field / golf course / water engineering contractors operating throughout the UK.

Operators should be experienced in laser levelling, & shaping works.
