Construction of Irrigation Storage Reservoir
Detailed Design: White Horse Contractors Limited

White Horse Contractors completed the detailed design,
planning and construction of a 53,000 m³ (11.5 million
gallon) irrigation winter storage reservoir.
The construction of a bunded containment feature within
a 5 acre highly wooded area. Construction incorporated
localised landscaping to mitigate visual impact and to
improve environmental habitats.
The reservoir was butyl lined, security fenced and had
a bespoke pump and distribution pipework scheme installed,
allowing water to be fed to the three courses at Frilford.
