Queens Park Rangers Football Club brand-new Training Ground at Heston has officially been opened! Specially invited guests attended the unveiling event where they were shown around this impressive new club facility, created for their players and staff.
The impressive building design utilises the natural sunlight and creates a positive environment for the players to enjoy. The use of solar panels and air source heat pumps means the building has achieved the ‘Excellent’ BREEAM certification. White Horse Contractors were involved extensively throughout the process constructing the elite standard playing surfaces and the wider infrastructure and landscaping around the site.
White Horse Contractors were responsible for the design, construction and renovation of over 50,000 m2 of elite GrassMaster hybrid pitches including 5 full size pitches, goalkeeper training area, training grids and rehabilitation areas. The state-of-the-art first team show pitch is fully floodlit, benefits from undersoil heating and incorporates the provision for pitch side performance analysis.

White Horse Contractors proudly working with our partners at GrassMaster (Tarkett Sports) to create and renovated the impressive, high quality hybrid pitches for the team and Academy players’ pitches on time ready for the players to return to Pre-season training.
Working closely alongside the Michael Brady Ltd, who delivering the building, the White Horse Contractor team has also designed and delivered the wider training ground infrastructure including roadways, car parks and landscaping detail. The entire sites irrigation system has been designed and installed by the White horse Contractors team.

As part of the site-wide sustainability considerations, the excess topsoil arisings were relocated to a secondary purpose and recycled at a local golf course. The entire team are proud to have worked on this state-of-the-art training facility and we look forward to watching the Club’s success for the coming seasons.
